I tell you what, I've been laid up since last Wednesday, fighting a brutal cold. But now I'm coughing up the last bits of green goo, and I'm in need of new reads. Tomorrow I'm going to take my happy ass down to the Paperback Rack and pick up a handful. So expect (brave) new things by this weekend.
In the meantime, enjoy a little tin-foil hattery from Alan Grant.

Devilvet here
I don't know if I told you, but I lived in Tally for 3 years (small world) FSU alum worked at the Loop Pizzera for 3 years too. I used to love to go to epitome coffee house (not there anymore I understand).
Those 3 years were some of the best of my life. I must have at least 3 dozen books on my shelf that I got from Paperback Rack and a bunch of CD's from Vinyl Fever.
The hardest thing about going back is that so many people I know aren't there anymore (the nature of a college town I guess...although you are a local I gather from your profile).
I miss the hills. I miss the FSU campus. I don't miss the bus station, or getting my car broken into a half dozen times by the bookstore.
Heck, I didn't know that. Damn, it's a small world. Yep, the "oh pity me" is gone, and the students come and go, but a lot of town is the same as it ever was. I love it here - I've traveled, and I always come back.
