I was wondering what had happened to you in your dystopian review manifestation. Good to see you back.

I'm presently wading my way through 'Perdido Street Station' by China Miéville (how does a guy get to be called China?). Ever read it? Maybe I blog on it later if you haven't beaten me to it...

Yep, I'm back. Just got a pile of books I was looking for, so I'm excited to keep on.

He claims it comes from Cockney rhyming slang - china plate/mate. Says his parents were kinda London hippies.
